Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026. Last updated: October 26, 2026.
This policy explains how Career Advice By Isaac, LLC (“we”, “us”), the company behind The Impression Advantage Coach, collects and uses personal information on impressionadvantage.com and when you sign in to the platform.
1. Who we are
The Impression Advantage Coach is AI coaching for professionals in trust windows, provided to organizations. It is a product of Career Advice By Isaac, LLC.
2. What this policy covers
- Visiting impressionadvantage.com
- Requesting a demo
- Signing in to the platform with an account your organization set up
If your employer gives you access to The Impression Advantage Coach, section 9 explains how coaching information is handled.
3. Information we collect
When you request a demo, you give us: your work email, first and last name, company name, job title, company headcount, company headquarters country, the trust windows you are interested in, and, if you choose, how you heard about us. We also record when you submitted the request.
Bot protection. To keep automated spam out of the demo form, a check runs in your browser when you submit it. It uses technical signals from your browser to confirm the request comes from a person. This check is provided by Vercel, our hosting provider. We do not use it to identify you or track you across other sites.
When you sign in, sign-in is handled by Auth0, our identity provider. We do not receive or store your password. We store your account identifier from Auth0, your email address, and the organization and role your organization assigned to you.
When you browse the site, our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical information needed to deliver web pages and keep them secure, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to our public pages, downloads and demo requests, so we can see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies and does not identify you or follow you across other sites. It never runs on signed-in pages, including the coach.
Cookies. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If you sign in, we use a cookie that keeps you signed in; the site cannot work for signed-in users without it. Our bot protection may store a small technical value in your browser so the check can work; it is not used for advertising or analytics.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your demo request and arrange a demo
- To let you sign in and to show you only what your role allows
- To keep the website and platform secure and to prevent spam and abuse
- To meet legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and platform, and only for that purpose:
| Provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website; provides bot protection for the form |
| Amazon Web Services | Stores our database |
| Auth0 (Okta) | Handles sign-in |
| Resend | Sends email notices: alerts to us when a demo request comes in, weekly prompt reminders to managers, and weekly follow-up notices to people being coached |
| Anthropic | Provides the AI model that writes the coach's replies and its private conversation notes. Anthropic may not train its models on this content under its commercial terms, and deletes it within 30 days unless it must keep it longer to enforce its usage policy or to meet the law |
| Google Workspace | Our business email |
| Cloudflare | Forwards email sent to privacy@impressionadvantage.com |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to it.
6. Where information is stored
Our database is hosted by Amazon Web Services in the United States, our sign-in provider stores account information in the United States, and our email provider sends from the United States. Our hosting provider delivers web pages through a global network, so technical information may be processed outside the United States. Coaching conversations are stored in the United States, and our AI provider processes them only on servers in the United States.
7. How long we keep it
- Demo requests: 24 months after our last contact, unless your company becomes a customer.
- Account information: for as long as your organization's account is active, then deleted according to our agreement with your organization.
- Hosting logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention settings.
8. Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@impressionadvantage.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
9. If your employer provides the Coach
When your organization provides The Impression Advantage Coach, we handle coaching information on its behalf under our agreement with it. What you share with your coach stays private to you: your employer, its managers and its administrators cannot see an individual's coaching. Your organization sees only patterns across groups of 10 or more people.
What we keep. Your coaching conversations, short private notes the coach writes so it can pick up where you left off, which module you are on, and when you finished each one, so the coach can ask follow-up questions later. Conversations and notes are encrypted before they are stored, with keys managed in Amazon Web Services, and only your own account can read them back through the platform. The notes keep only what the coaching needs and leave out health, family and other personal details unless you raise them as part of your work situation. Your module progress is visible only to you; your organization sees enrollment, and patterns across groups of 10 or more.
AI. Replies and notes are written by an AI model from Anthropic (see section 5). Your coaching is not used to train AI models. The coach does not evaluate, score or rank you, and we never give your employer individual coaching information.
Our own team does not access coaching content. Every use of the encryption keys is recorded in an audit log.
Follow-up emails. When your coach has a follow-up question waiting, we may email you at most once a week to say so. These emails go to the address your organization gave us, so they contain only a short notice and a link. They never include your coaching questions or anything you discussed. You can turn them off on your coach page; your organization cannot see or change that setting.
If you are a manager. What you discuss with the manager companion is private to you. Your direct report, your People team and your organization's administrators cannot read it. Your conversations about a direct report are deleted when that person's trust window is deleted.
Deleting your coaching. You can ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@impressionadvantage.com. Your organization's agreement with us also sets what happens to coaching data when the program ends.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Coaching conversations and notes are encrypted again, each with its own key, before they are stored, and every use of the encryption keys is logged. Our database has no public internet access, and access uses short-lived credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we design ours so privacy rules are enforced by the platform itself.
11. Children
The website and platform are for professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
